Sigenergy SigenStor
9.04kWh usable,
every kilowatt of it.
The Sigen Battery 10.0 module runs at 100% depth of discharge, so the 9.04kWh on the datasheet is the 9.04kWh in your house. Stack up to six per controller, mix them with 5kWh and 8kWh packs, and keep the lights on when the street goes dark.

SigenStor
9.04 kWh usable modules · up to 6 per controller
Five Products in One Cabinet
Sigenergy launched the SigenStor as a deliberate answer to a wall covered in boxes. Hybrid inverter, battery modules, PV input, DC EV charging and backup all sit inside one stack, sharing one BMS and one warranty. Fewer components on the wall means fewer things to commission and fewer places for a fault to hide.
It has become one of the fastest-adopted storage platforms in Australia, and Sigenergy has invested heavily in local approvals: 1,740 CEC-approved stack combinations covering the 5kWh, 8kWh and 9.04kWh modules. That is why we can size a system to your bills instead of to a stock configuration.
The 9.04kWh Module: What Makes It Different
Most batteries quote a nominal figure and quietly hold a slice back. The Sigen Battery 10.0 does not: the 9.04kWh is what you draw.
100% depth of discharge
9.04 kWh usable out of 10 kWh nominal. No hidden reserve, no derated winter figure to discover on your first cold night.
Per-module optimiser
Each pack manages itself, which is what lets a 9.04 kWh module share a stack with older 5 kWh and 8 kWh packs.
Real power, not just capacity
4.6 kW continuous and 6.9 kW peak per module, so an oven and an aircon on the same evening is not a problem.
Scales to 54 kWh
Up to six modules per controller. Start with one, add another when the EV arrives, without replacing the system.
Key Specifications Sigen Battery 10.0
Around 30% off, applied to your quote rather than your tax return.
Sigenergy stacks sit on the CEC approved battery list with 1,740 approved combinations, so the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount is applied at the point of sale and we do the paperwork. Since 1 May 2026 it has been tiered by battery size, which is worth knowing before you size a stack.
- First 14 kWh Full rate, about $272 per usable kWh
- 14 to 28 kWh 60% of the full rate
- 28 to 50 kWh 15% of the full rate
Two 9.04kWh modules land at 18.08kWh, so the first 14kWh earns the full rate and the balance earns 60%. Your installation date sets the rate, not the date you sign. Figures correct as of June 2026, and the rate now steps down every six months, each January and July, through to the end of 2030.
What to Expect From Our Installation
- Bills before recommendations: We request up to 12 months of your usage data and size the module count to your evening load, not a generic 10 kWh suggestion
- Compatibility assessment first: We check your switchboard, existing inverter, available and compliant site space, and grid connection before quoting, so there are no surprises on the day
- Blackout circuit wired correctly: Not all installers set up back-up circuits. We explain the product limitations to you and what to expect, then we connect it with a changeover switch to protect your place
- Licensed, insured, AS/NZS 5139 compliant: All battery work completed under Electrical Contractor Licence #306412C
- Monitoring commissioned on site: We set up the mySigen app on your phone so you can track performance from day one

Sigenergy FAQs
- What is the 9.04 kWh Sigenergy module?
- It is the usable capacity of the Sigen Battery 10.0 pack. The module is rated 10 kWh nominal and delivers 9.04 kWh you can actually use, because Sigenergy runs LFP cells at 100 percent depth of discharge rather than holding a reserve back. Each pack carries its own optimiser, which is why it can sit in the same stack as the older 5 kWh and 8 kWh modules.
- How many modules do I need?
- One 9.04 kWh module covers roughly a full evening and overnight for a typical Sydney household. Two takes most homes through to the next morning with headroom for an EV or a pool pump. You can run up to six per controller, around 54 kWh. We size it against 12 months of your actual consumption rather than a rule of thumb.
- Can I mix module sizes in one stack?
- Yes. Sigenergy has 1,740 CEC-approved combinations covering the 5 kWh, 8 kWh and 9.04 kWh modules mixed within a single stack. That matters if you want to expand later: you are not locked into buying the same module you started with.
- Is the Sigenergy eligible for the federal battery rebate?
- Yes. Sigenergy stacks are on the CEC approved battery list, with 1,740 approved combinations, so the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount applies straight to your quote rather than arriving later as a rebate. Since 1 May 2026 it is tiered by size: the full rate on the first 14 kWh, 60% of it from 14 to 28 kWh, and 15% from 28 to 50 kWh. Your installation date sets the rate, not the date you sign. We handle the paperwork. Call 1300 797 630 for the current position at the time of your enquiry.
- Will the Sigenergy keep my power on during a blackout?
- Yes. The SigenStor includes a backup output and we wire a dedicated essential-loads circuit during installation, then test the changeover before we hand over. If whole-home backup matters to you, tell us at quote stage so we size the system for it.
- Can I add a Sigenergy to my existing solar?
- In most cases yes. The SigenStor includes a hybrid inverter, so it can replace an ageing string inverter and add storage in the same visit. We check your panels, switchboard and grid connection at quote stage and confirm compatibility before you commit.
- How long does installation take?
- A standard Sigenergy installation takes one day. We handle the grid notification paperwork, commissioning, and the mySigen app setup before we leave.
